It also provides a detailed coverage of the fatigue behaviour of composite members. All these issues are treated at length using a mixture of descriptions of the basic phenomena (assisted by very clear figures), presentation of the mathematical basis and selected worked examples.... It will, form an excellent library volume, since its international style and concentration on fundamentals means that it should not date too quickly. For those with a real interest in composite construction, the clarity of presentation and comprehensive coverage make the book a very worthwhile investment.
